How it works

A clear, simple process — no jargon, no guesswork

You always know what's happening and what I need from you next. You see a free preview before you commit, and nothing goes live until you approve it.

01

Quick conversation

Day 1

We start with a short call, Zoom, or a few messages. Tell me what your business does, who your customers are, and what you want the website to achieve.

What you provide: A few minutes of your time — that's it.

  • What you do and who you serve
  • What you want visitors to do on the site
  • Any websites you like the look of
  • Your colours, or let me suggest some
02

Free preview

Within days

I design and build a real preview of your website. Not a mockup or a sketch — an actual working site you can click through on your own phone.

What you provide: Your feedback on what you'd like changed.

  • Real pages you can browse and scroll
  • Your content and imagery in place
  • Mobile view so you see what customers see
  • Nothing to pay and no obligation
03

Review & launch

Once you approve

We refine it together until you're genuinely happy with it. Then I handle every technical step to get it live and findable.

What you provide: Final approval — nothing goes live without it.

  • Revisions until it's right
  • Domain and hosting connected
  • Contact forms set up and tested
  • Google Maps and local search setup
04

Ongoing support

Ongoing

Your website isn't finished the day it launches. Send me a message whenever something needs updating and I'll take care of it.

What you provide: Let me know what's changed in your business.

  • Content updates whenever you need them
  • Backups, security and speed monitoring
  • Seasonal refreshes and improvements
  • One message — no dashboard logins

Timelines

How long it takes

Most small-business sites are designed, reviewed and live within days rather than months. A few things affect the timeline:

  • How quickly you can review

The biggest factor. When you can give feedback promptly, projects move fast.

  • How much content is ready

Send photos, logos and details up front and we skip the back-and-forth later.

  • How many pages you need

A one-page site is quick. Larger sites with many pages simply take longer to do well.

You'll always get a realistic timeline up front — and nothing goes live until you're happy with it.

Getting ready

What to have ready

Don't worry if you don't have all of this — I can work with whatever you have, and fill in the gaps for you.

Helpful to have

  • Your logo, if you have one
  • Photos of your business, team or work
  • A description of your services
  • Business hours and location
  • Phone number and email you want listed
  • Examples of websites you like

Don't worry about

  • Writing polished copy — I'll help
  • Buying a domain or hosting — I'll set it up
  • Technical setup of any kind
  • Knowing what pages you need
  • Choosing colours — I'll suggest options
  • Learning any software or dashboard

Ready to get started?

The first step is a quick, no-pressure conversation. Tell me about your business and I'll take it from there.
